This interactive workshop will be run by Dr Helen Kara, author of 'Creative Research Methods in the Social Sciences: A Practical Guide'. Helen will outline the four pillars of creative research methods:

  • arts-based research
  • research using technology
  • mixed methods research
  • transformative research frameworks

(i.e. methodologies including participatory, feminist, decolonising etc).
She will also cover the relationship between creative research and ethics. The workshop will give you a good understanding of how creative approaches can enhance all stages of the research process.
