Positive Psychology is an umbrella term for a range of positive psychological constructs that relate to optimal human functioning. Given the aims and objectives of Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology are shared i.e. the enhancement of goal attainment and well-being, it is recommended that the Coaching Psychology practitioner have a broad understanding of the science of Positive Psychology and its application in an evidence-based coaching context.
In this Masterclass, Dr Suzy Green will provide an introduction and overview of key positive psychological theories, models and interventions that are relevant to coaching practice.
The workshop is better suited to those with coaching experience.
To provide a review of the emerging field of Positive Psychology Coaching and suggestions for the integration of Positive Psychology into evidence based coaching practice.
Suzy will share examples of how she integrates the complementary sciences of Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology in her own coaching practice. The Masterclass aims to be experiential in nature with participants encouraged to work on their own personal wellbeing goals within the session.
