Meet Our Team

The KC Jones conference&events story begins in 2004 after Managing Director Rebecca Cadman-Jones founded the business in Derby. Building the brand and clientele from scratch, the entrepreneur used her wealth of experience in hospitality and events management in partnership with strong motivation and desire to run her own company to create the successful business we now see today. 

Since then, Rebecca has grown her business, adding Event Managers Kay Waters and Tammy Pratt in 2013 and 2015 respectively, to work closely with clients and deliver the fabulous live events and conferences. With their combined knowledge of events and membership management combined with exceptional baking skills and infectious personalities, Kay and Tammy are integral parts of the team to this day.  Cath Cabourn joined KC Jones in 2015 in Accounts, helping the business and her allotment to grow from strength to strength.  

With new contracts, bigger venues and more wonderful delegates, KC Jones welcomed Ian Wilson as Director Events in 2019 to oversee the daily running over the team, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, a love of sport and unbeatable interpersonal skills.

February 2020 saw the team expand further with Yvonne Yates, Lauren Coxon and Tom Holmes becoming permanent additions to the team. Bringing exhibition, venue search and accreditation experience, Yvonne, Lauren and Tom add another three strings to the all-rounded KC Jones bow. 

Alongside our fabulous team we have our equally important pets which often make appearances in our office to spread joy and puppy love. Rebecca is the loving owner of Tink, Jasper and Josie who are always welcoming new visitors to the building and looking for members of staff to cuddle with for their afternoon naps. Donut, the best dressed pooch in the office with eclectic bow-ties and bandanas, can be found with Kay or enjoying time in his paddling pool. Cath has two bundles of joy with Joey and Socks alongside her daughter's dog Kala. All our furry friends are valued members of the team and we love to see their smiling faces in the office, be sure to give them a good belly rub when you visit us!

We also have wonderful team members working remotely to help keep the cogs in the KC Jones wheel turning. Celia Lloyd and Judy Livingstone are based in Scotland and are our resident EventsAIR experts, always available to give us a hand with large congresses and abstract submissions. Finally, we have Crista Hazell as the Association Development Manager working from Bristol. Crista is a modern foreign languages expert, author and dog enthusiast, enjoying long walks on the beach and hosting webinars on current MFL topics and trends.
