East Midlands Health and Care Apprenticeship Levy Summit

Health Education England working across the East Midlands and the Skills Funding Agency are working in partnership to create information and Workshop based sessions around the Apprenticeship Levy. The aim is to provide support and information on the changes to apprenticeships, including new frameworks, the apprenticeship levy and the financial affects this will have on NHS organisations.

We want to enable the sharing of best practice and shaping of the best approach to the reforms to apprenticeships and collaborate effectively across the East Midlands.
The afternoon will comprise of workshop sessions to allow delegates to discuss the following –

  • A significant area of change around apprenticeships is the way that the government will fund the apprenticeship training element. The Apprenticeship Levy will cause a financial implication to organisations and this will be a key topic for discussion.
  • Discussion around Quality and Implementation of apprenticeships
  • With the development of new apprenticeship frameworks and especially degree level apprenticeships a discussion around how organisations will consider workforce planning and development talking into account apprenticeships.
