Group of Trainers in Clinical Psychology Annual Conference

Monday 7th - Wednesday 9th November 2016 at The Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon

“We know what we are, but know not what we may be” - Hamlet

The Universities of Birmingham, Coventry and Warwick are looking forward to welcoming you to the Group of Trainers in Clinical Psychology Annual Conference on Monday 7th - Wednesday 9th November 2016 at The Stratford Manor Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon. The Conference will start at 12:00 on Monday with registration and lunch and close after lunch on Wednesday at 14:00.

The focus of the 2016 conference will include sharing innovative practice and considering how we have adapted to the changes in the BPS 2014 accreditation criteria. We hope to have contributions from most of the UK training courses, with additional presentations from the BPS, DCP and distinguished keynote speakers.

The programme this year offers a mixture of workshops which include sharing ideas / information with time for discussion and a celebration of innovative practice. Depending on interest and offers we are hoping to offer shorter sessions which mirror the popular Show and Tell sessions from recent conferences. We also have our usual sub-group meetings, AGM and a taste of something different...

We recognise that conversation and networking are key aspects of the conference, so there are realistically timed coffee breaks, lunches and space to explore the area or socialise. Time has also been reserved for discussion of late breaking issues.

We are very pleased to announce the Conference Programme is now available (please note this is a draft and subject to change).
