Faculty of Forensic Clinical Psychology Autumn Meeting 2018: Worboys and Beyond – the Future of Forensic Risk Assessment and Practice

Thursday 1st - Friday 2nd November 2018 at Holiday Inn, Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne

The programme includes:

  • A keynote presentation by Professor Nick Hardwick, Royal Holloway University of London
  • Life prisoners' perspectives on risk and the Parole Board from Simon Scott, Trustee of the Prisoners' Education Trust
  • A keynote presentation by Professor David Cooke on contemporary research and practice in risk assessment
  • A panel debate and discussion on risk assessment post-Worboys including Dr Kerry Beckley, Professor Todd Hogue and Professor Leam Craig
  • A workshop to revise the Faculty's guidance on on risk assessment and management
