Ethical Trading: Guidelines and issues for EP Services offering traded services

Introduction
This workshop will consider issues that members are experiencing as Educational Psychology services are increasingly being traded.
These will include potential dilemmas and possible solutions in relation to trainees, marketing of services, ensuring competency and access to supervision and CPD and data sharing.
The Division of Educational and Child Psychology will have published Guidelines to support Educational Psychology Services (early 2013) wishing to offer traded services in line with the BPS Code of Ethics.
Target audience - Educational Psychologists

Learning outcomes and objectives - Participants will:
- Develop their understanding of the different areas where ethical dilemmas may occur when trading services
- Develop their awareness of the DECP Guidelines and how to use these to guide practice
- Have a chance to reflect on the experience of their own services in relation to ethical trading
- Develop an action plan to address issues in their own services regarding traded services
