"Forward in Transport through Advanced Manufacturing"

Transport iNet are to hold a half day event at the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) with Boeing.

The Transport iNet provides support to SME's with their innovation activities, helping them to focus on activities which they feel could contribute to the sustained growth of their business. The support comes in the form of funding, supply chain brokerage, and helping to form collaborative links with universities and other knowledge bases. 

This event will be located within the Knowledge Transfer Centre, which opened early in 2012, and is aimed at SME's based in the East Midlands who supply into the Transport equipment sector. During the event, there will be an opportunity to hear the experiences of SME's who have benefited from using the Centre, to have a tour of the facilities (limited in number), to network and to talk to a representative of Transport iNet to discuss their innovation aspirations and needs.
