There are four models or frameworks presented in the two days:
- A five stage model of ethical maturity (Creating an ethical Compass, Ethical decision making and discernment, Implementing ethical decisions, Presenting an ethical rationale for decisions made and finally ethically peace or sustainability)
- A six level model of reflection. Ethical maturity has at its heart the ability to reflect (think deeply) on issues involved. The six stages of reflection reviews deepening levels of thinking and presents six platforms from which to view ethics.
- A four stage framework for building and repairing trust. Trust and faithfulness to relationships is the core of ethical maturity. Participants are led through the stages and steps of moving from an ethics of duty to an ethics of trust.
- A four stage model of ethical decision making (problem solving rational model)
The two days are a blend of input, exercises, working with ethical vignettes, small group discussion and group sharing.
