Introduction
Because of the current political uncertainties around future 14-19 policy we are, regretfully, postponing this conference. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause but will reconvene an event as soon as the education and training policy context for young people is clarified.
East Midlands Region RPA Event: 19th May 2010, Gateway Hotel Nottingham
The Young People's Learning Agency champions young people by providing financial support to young learners, by funding Academies for all their provision and by supporting local authorities to commission suitable education and training opportunities for all 16-19 year olds.
The YPLA makes a difference to all young people's lives by raising their aspirations and helping them attain the knowledge and skills they need to prosper in the economy.
In 2015 all young people will be required to continue in education or training until they are 18. The Young People's Learning Agency, East Midlands is pleased to invite you to a conference exploring the issues facing young people, providers, Local Authorities and funding agencies in meeting this challenging target.
This is your opportunity to meet with the new YPLA East Midlands team.
