This Pre 19 strategy will outline the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) priorities, funding and allocations process for 2010/11.

This will also include Apprenticeship elements and will feature very brief headlines on the Post-19 Skills Investment Strategy.

The main objectives of the briefing will be to brief providers/partners on:
o  The recent position on the 2010/11 National Statement of Priorities for Young People's Learning
o  Commissioning Cycle 2010/11 Key activities, Investment Strategy and Commissioning approach. 
o  National Apprenticeship Service; priorities for investment and key processes. 
o  Summary overview of the post-19 Skills Investment Strategy (SIS) 
o  National Commissioning Framework (NCF), overview and timetable for delivery. 

Further to the postponement of the Statement of Priorities briefing the following three dates have now been allocated to share essential information with you:

Monday 11th January 2010, Henry Ford College, Loughborough - 1.00pm-4.00pm
Target audience - FE Colleges, WBL Providers and local authorities
