Introduction
The purpose of these briefings is to share with provider's the current progress on the process for allocating funds for the 2010/11 academic year. This will include a description of the stages in the process, the broad completion date for the process and internal use of specific data to reach the final allocations at provider level.
The briefing will also give you the opportunity to seek clarification on data cuts to be used and the application of the rules relating to Standard Learner Number/learner ratios, success rates and FE out-turn volumes for 2009/10.
It will NOT include details of rates per Standard Learner Number since these have not yet been finalised nationally and are not expected to be known until late December.
