Introduction
Invitation to Innovation Support Grant Clinics
Spend 20 minutes with an advisor to turn new ideas into new business and apply for grants of up to £10,000
The transport equipment market is global and is driven by innovation. In the current economic climate many businesses need specialist support to become more innovative to achieve or sustain competitive advantage.
East Midlands Development Agency's Transport iNet - also funded by the European Regional Development Fund - is running the first in a series of innovation support clinics at key locations in the East Midlands at:
Holywell Business Park, Loughborough on Tuesday 17th November 2009 between 10.00am - 1.00pm.
Businesses in the region operating in automotive, aerospace, rail, motorsport and marine can book an appointment with an innovation adviser to identify how the Transport iNet can support its initiatives through expertise, impartial advice, contacts and Innovation Support Grants (ISGs) of up to £10,000.
ISGs are designed to help small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) pay for external consultancy or other expertise to turn new initiatives - e.g. new product, process or service development - into profit. By booking an appointment an innovation adviser can quickly help find out if your business is eligible, and advise on other support available.
Application is straightforward and the iNet business advisers can quickly guide you through the process during a scheduled 20 minute discussion. Your attendance at this clinic will allow you to understand what support grants are available to your business, learn about other available services, and take advantage of them right now!
If you need further assistance then please call 01332 227771. Other Transport iNet innovation support clinics will take place in the region.
