Introduction
People 1st, the Sector Skills Council for Hospitality, Leisure, Travel & Tourism are launching East Midlands Tourism & Culture Skills Network at The National Space Centre.
Within the East Midlands some very exciting work is beginning to emerge on how People 1st can support businesses in the tourism and culture sectors drive forward action on skills and productivity in the region and they would like you to be part of it!
The network has been established to do just this and by working in partnership with key stakeholders People 1st aim to help tourism businesses become more productive through investing in their own skills and those of their staff. This is your chance to get involved in shaping the future of business support for our sector.
We are pleased to be welcoming guest speaker, Mr Chas Bishop, National Space Centre's Chief Executive who has a wealth of knowledge of the industry to hear of his experiences within the industry.
