Introduction
CHME (Council for Hospitality Management Education - CHME) is a voluntary non-profit making body which represents those UK universities and colleges offering courses in the management of hospitality businesses.
Hosted by Nottingham Trent University, the 2006 CHME Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure Conference promises to be one of the most exciting conferences we have hosted in our city and do hope that you will come along and enjoy listening to our stimulating and thought provoking speakers whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of Nottingham.
Conference aims:
- Enhance the quality of research, pedagogy, learning and teacher in hospitality, leisure and tourism studies
- Facilitate the sharing of good practice, interests and ideas amongst the academic community
- Support and encouragement to those involved in hospitality, leisure and tourism studies research and education, including new and experienced researchers, postgraduate researchers and other students on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the field
- Provide opportunities for networking with colleagues from a range of institutions and backgrounds
