dvantage West Midlands would like to invite West Midlands (including Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and Warwickshire) based Entrepreneurs, Owner / Managers, Directors of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Advisers, Financiers and University Commercialisation Departments to their Business Finance Conference.
The conference is due to be held on Thursday 12th October 2006 from 9am until 5pm at The Hawthorns (West Bromwich Albion Football Club). Finance is a key issue for many businesses at every stage of their development. This conference, through a combination of workshops and key note addresses, will cover the financing needs and options of businesses from their earliest stages to maturity, including a specific focus on financing innovation and research and development.
The keynote speakers will include Doug Richard (from the Dragons' Den and Library House) and Norman Price, a board member / chair of a number of high tech businesses, a government adviser on business finance and tax issues and Deputy Chairman of Advantage West Midlands. Workshop leaders and speakers will be drawn from a range of venture capital and business finance providers and advisers.
