This innovative East Midlands-wide conference is geared towards bringing the region’s forward-looking Investors in People businesses and public sector bodies up to date with the latest modifications, explaining the new ways in which the Standard has been improved to stretch and improve their performance even further. Additionally, important Models have been developed to focus on specific key issues such as Leadership and Management and Work-life Balance Model ­ these and others will be explained as part of a packed programme designed to inform and inspire.

An opportunity to network and share best practice between hundreds of organisations which have achieved the Standard is also a key aim of this event ­ the first major conference of its kind to be staged within the East Midlands.

The programme of top calibre speakers and lively, interactive and highly informative workshops has been designed to ensure that every delegate will leave with new ideas that can be implemented in the workplace. Additionally, organisations that have recently achieved the Standard will celebrate their success by receiving their official Investors in People plaques.

The Conference is being hosted by EMQC ­ the nationally recognised Investors in People assessment centre for the East Midlands ­ and the regional Learning and Skills Council. It has been supported by the East Midlands Development Agency.
