| Introduction | Agenda | Speakers | Location | Booking Form | This Workshop will bring top speakers from across the UK who lead on the youth enterprise agenda. Our guest speaker will be Lloyd Dorfman, Chair and Chief Executive of Travelex and patron of the Princes Trust. Mr Dorfman will be sharing with us his views on the enterprising firm and how we can help young people develop enterprise skills to benefit employers.
This day-long event will cover enterprise skills development including outlining national and regional policy, the work of Enterprise Insight, and include short updates on existing activity across the East Midlands. It will include presentations from local champions and give attendees the opportunity to feed their own knowledge and skills in to the network of local partners. The afternoon session, led by Daily Telegraph and Guardian journalist, Guy Browning, will provide the opportunity to develop lateral thinking skills to consider how a bridge can be established to link enterprise skills and economic development.
The day is planned to be of value to senior economic development advisers and key partner staff involved in developing the enterprise capability skills of young people as well as Head Teachers, FE college principals and relevant HE staff.
This will be a prestigious regional event the first of its kind to establish a bridge between economic development and enterprise capability. emda is committed to nurturing a flourishing region and the enterprising capability of its young people.
We do hope you will be able to join us.
