How to shake off your inhibitions and accelerate your success
The one thing that typically holds women back from stepping out their comfort zone and performing at their peak is lack of self belief and confidence. Could this be you? If so, then Ann’s unique and lively workshop guarantees to change your thinking and your results. You will have an opportunity to move beyond your boundaries and discover the ‘real you’ with new techniques to apply in meetings, at sales calls, in front of teams or audiences, on the telephone and in any personal or professional setting. If you are tired of getting average results and want to ‘step up’ and excel, then this workshop will prove to be invaluable.
It is a highly interactive and enjoyable session that will elevate your communication and rapport building skills to another level. Be ready for some interesting results over the coming weeks!
Ann Martin,Women’s Alternative Network is an experienced TV presenter, speaker, trainer, ‘performance transformer’, NLP Master Practitioner and Woman of the Year runner up.
Challenging conflict
Conflict is something most people strive to avoid – we prefer to leave it to someone else to deal with the irate consumer, the difficult colleague or the customer you just can’t afford to alienate but who just won’t settle their invoice. This is fine for those in employment – it’s easy to pass responsibility for the nasty jobs to someone else. However when it’s your own business you no longer have the luxury of fending off the difficult tasks to someone else – the buck stops with you!
Julie Miller of Brooks Jordan Training Services will take you through some simple yet practical ways that can be deployed across a range of situations to help you manage expectations and thereby deal with some of the most common causes of conflict in business. Finally Julie will end the session by delivering an element from the Brooks Jordan conflict management programme on managing and diffusing aggression.
Breaking through the ‘Glass Ceiling’ without breaking a nail!
Workplace equality is always a hot topic. Every year more figures are released demonstrating that, while the gap is closing, men are still paid more and in more top jobs than women proving that the legendary ‘glass ceiling’ is still in place. Hear from three highly successful East Midlands women who have changed that, rather than reaching a glass ceiling that blocked their upward progression, these women found ways to make a lateral transition through a ‘glass partition’ to ensure their success.
Women bring a creative spark, intelligence, personality, professional ability and motivation to senior roles, but there are still constraints to career progression, both organisational and personal. This workshop is specifically designed for women executives who are, or soon will be the rising stars in their organisations and who are looking for ways to take on their next career challenge and want to learn from those who are already flying high!
Having it all – A busy woman’s guide to balance
Have you ever thought you were missing out on some balance in your life? Can you really be the very best version of you, have a great Work Life Balance, not to mention a barrel of fun, in short, have it all? The answer is a resounding YES. This inspiring, interactive and engaging workshop led by Lisa Spencer-Arnell will share with you the practical HOW TO’s; all you need to bring is an open mind!
Lisa is an experienced Work Life Balance & Performance Coach, Facilitator, Trainer & Speaker, not to mention a busy wife, mum, daughter and friend who walks her talk. She’s passionate about making a difference by helping people achieve both excellence and balance (Plus a bit more fun)!
