CHME (Council for Hospitality Management Education - CHME) is a voluntary non-profit making body which represents those UK universities and colleges offering courses in the management of hospitality businesses.

Hosted by Oxford Brookes University, the 2007 CHME Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Conference promises to be both challenging and stimulating, and we do hope that you will come along and enjoy listening to the wonderful line up of keynote speakers and enjoy the stunning social events in some of Oxford’s most impressive venues.

Conference aims:

• Enhance the quality of research, pedagogy, learning and teaching in hospitality, leisure and tourism studies;
• Facilitate the sharing of good practice, interests and ideas amongst the academic community;
• Provide support and encouragement to those involved in hospitality, leisure and tourism studies research and education, including new and experienced researchers, postgraduate researchers and other students on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across the field;
• Provide opportunities for networking with colleagues from a range of institutions and backgrounds.
